Named after the native Ptarmigan game bird, whose feathers, much like the dramatic Scottish landscape change colour with the seasons. This ground floor apartment serves as an ideal base for adventurers eager to explore the surrounding lochs and mountains, while providing a peaceful and comfortable base to return to.

As you enter the property, you are greeted by an open-plan living area that seamlessly combines the kitchen and dining space, creating the perfect social setting for couples or families to come together.

The kitchen, adorned in a rustic country style, is fully equipped with all the essentials you might require throughout your stay, including a refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, and a comprehensive assortment of tableware and glassware. Adjacent to the kitchen there is a comfortable dining area for up to 4 people to enjoy a hearty breakfast or an evening meal. 

A cosy living room completes the space with sumptuous leather sofas and homely soft furnishings for your added comfort. You can toast your toes in front of a warming electric fireplace after a long day of exploring the Loch.

On the same level, there is a spacious double room adorned with a king-size bed and charming soft furnishings that exude subtle highland vibes, a theme that is consistent throughout the property. Additionally, there is a twin room ideally suited for young children. Both of these rooms are accommodated by a spacious bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and Scottish Fine Soap toiletries to use for the duration of your stay. 

The rear door leads to a generous, secluded patio, complete with your personal hot tub. Revel in the relaxing bubbles while reclining and admiring the sunset; conveniently sheltered, it's designed for your enjoyment throughout the year, regardless of the weather. Twinkling fairy lights add that extra touch of magic!

Comfortable outdoor seating allows for al fresco dining so you can make the most of the beautiful outdoors. The property also boasts a Charcoal Weber BBQ for you to enjoy delicious local produce you might have collected on your day out.

• There is private parking next to the lodge with space for two standard sized cars. If you plan to bring a larger vehicle please advise us in advance.
• The hot tubs work on a timer ad will turn off at 11pm
