With sprawling Scottish countryside views and a backdrop of trees and mountains, Oakwoods house offers and idyllic escape for families or groups of friends who are looking explore the beauty and magic of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. This spacious, self-catering holiday home exudes homely comfort and Scottish charm and comfortably sleeps 8 adults with space for two additional children.

As you enter the property, you are greeted by a spacious, open-plan area combining the living room, kitchen, and dining space, creating an ideal social hub on the ground floor where families and friends can come together for evenings filled with games, music, and meals.

The main living area is a light and airy space with plenty of sumptuous sofas to accommodate everyone as they snuggle in front of the Smart TV for a movie marathon.

Adjacent to the kitchen, there is an additional reception area complete with comfortable seating and a Smart TV, creating the perfect spot to enjoy an evening drink while the family chef prepares a delicious meal.

The kitchen, boasting a rustic style with a large oak and marble-topped design, is fully equipped with all the essentials for your stay. This includes a refrigerator, microwave, oven, multi-fuel stove, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, and a full set of tableware and glassware. There is even a quaint window seat which offers a great spot to sit and enjoy a morning coffee and plan the day ahead. 

Next to the kitchen, there is a cosy dining area that can accommodate up to 10 people for a family meal, which can be enhanced with some soothing piano music should anyone in the group have a musical ear. For added entertainment, there is a games area featuring a dart board, guaranteed to amuse the youngsters, while the adults may choose to relax on the terrace.

Double patio doors lead to a spacious, furnished private deck complete with hot tub. Here, you can relax in the comforting bubbles and watch the sunset. Comfortable outdoor seating allows for al fresco dining so you can make the most of the beautiful outdoors. The property features a Charcoal Weber BBQ, perfect for grilling and enjoying the delicious local produce you may have gathered during your day out. 

Two of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor of the property, one master double bedroom with an en-suite featuring a free-standing bath and walk in shower with a rainwater shower head, and a twin bedroom, served by a separate shower room offering Scottish Fine Soap toiletries. 

Upstairs, there are two additional double rooms served by an extra shower room. Additionally, there is a sitting room equipped with a sofa bed, perfect for those traveling with young children.

Things to know about the property…

• There is private parking next to the lodge with space for two standard sized cars. If you plan to bring a larger vehicle please advise us in advance.
• The property is pet-friendly so please feel free to bring your well-behaved, furry friends. You will be provided with a welcome pack containing a bowl and towel. Please note there is a limit of two dogs in the lodge. 
• The hot tubs work on a timer and will turn off at 11pm
