Please note there are no kitchen facilities within this accommodation type, so we recommend guests download and browse the Together Travel app to discover restaurants and cafes in Stornoway and the local area. The only dining provisions at Lews Castle are within the Storehouse Café (on the ground floor), open from 10am-4pm each day.

Sunlight is can be found on the top floor of Lews Castle, accessible only by staircase, making it best suited for those with full mobility. This romantic en-suite bedroom features a charming, cosy bed and a striking freestanding tub, perfect for couples seeking a serene retreat while exploring the area. Although the top-floor location offers limited views directed towards the central castle roof, the castle's ground floor spaces provide ample opportunities to enjoy the beauty of Stornoway harbour.

It's worth noting that the room features high ceilings adorned with skylight windows, making it a perfect choice for those who enjoy waking to the natural light of sunrise. However, it may not be ideal for guests who prefer complete darkness, as blackout blinds are not provided. For storage, the room includes a freestanding clothes rail, offering a simple and functional solution.

• Rooms and apartments are not serviced and amenities not replenished during your stay, unless specifically requested and paid for.
• Our properties at Lews Castle have bespoke check-in times, that reflect the unique nature of the site, and how it's operated. Lews Castle welcomes guests to check-in daily between 4pm -9pm. Any arrivals outside of these designated hours will incur a mandatory early or late -arrival fee of £50. This can be pre-booked at the time of making your reservation. If you anticipate an early or late arrival please inform our concierge team during the reservation process or during your pre-arrival call with our operations team.
