Set on the first floor of Lews Castle, Matheson's palatial open-plan living, kitchen and dining area looks out over the spectacular woodland and grounds to the West of the building. Decorated in a palette of on-trend deep blues and blush pinks, this relaxing and inviting space is perfect for catching-up over dinner with family, or kicking back after a day spent exploring. The living area has been designed around the perfectly preserved 'Matheson Safe' - a throwback to the castle's 19th Century heritage.
Two of the bedrooms that lead off the entrance corridor command spectacular harbour views, sharing a contemporary family bathroom with shower over tub (although there are vanity sinks in each room for freshening up). The third bedroom or 'Matheson North', has views over the central roof of the castle due to the unique layout, en-suite shower room and a separate wardrobe area (without seating).
The luxury self-catering apartments and bedrooms at Lews Castle perfectly blend the classic and contemporary, staying true to the Victorian origins of the grand building but affording all the modern touches that makes a stay with Together Travel truly memorable.
