Matheson (Deluxe 3-Bed Apartment)

Set on the first floor of Lews Castle, Matheson's palatial open-plan living, kitchen and dining area looks out over the spectacular woodland and grounds to the West of the building. Decorated in a palette of on-trend deep blues and blush pinks, this relaxing and inviting space is perfect for catching-up over dinner with family, or kicking back after a day spent exploring. The living area has been designed around the perfectly preserved 'Matheson Safe' - a throwback to the castle's 19th Century heritage.

Two of the bedrooms that lead off the entrance corridor command spectacular harbour views, sharing a contemporary family bathroom with shower over tub (although there are vanity sinks in each room for freshening up). The third bedroom or 'Matheson North', has views over the central roof of the castle due to the unique layout, en-suite shower room and a separate wardrobe area (without seating).

• Please note that unfortunately, we can only accept pets in Leverhulme Apartment. Matheson is not a pet-friendly apartment.
• Rooms and apartments are not serviced and amenities not replenished during your stay, unless specifically requested and paid for.
• Our properties at Lews Castle have bespoke check-in times, that reflect the unique nature of the site, and how it's operated. Lews Castle welcomes guests to check-in daily between 4pm -9pm. Any arrivals outside of these designated hours will incur a mandatory early or late -arrival fee of £50. This can be pre-booked at the time of making your reservation. If you anticipate an early or late arrival please inform our concierge team during the reservation process or during your pre-arrival call with our operations team.
