Wood Cottage, once an old joiner’s workshop, has been thoughtfully transformed into a charming self-catering holiday retreat designed especially for couples. Despite its compact nature, the cottage feels impressively spacious, thanks to its exceptional design. Its delightful character and clever layout make it an ideal choice for a relaxing, get-away-from-it-all holiday in the heart of Northumberland.

With Velux windows and beamed ceilings, the open plan living, kitchen and dining space is bursting with charm. A Smart TV and a wide selection of books are available to keep you fully entertained as you sink into the comfortable sofa and relax.

A sleek and vibrantly coloured kitchen comes complete with all the appliances you might need for the duration of your stay, including, a hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. 

This cottage has the use of a shared laundry space with Stable Cottage. The utility space also has a deep freeze and is located beside the cottage. 

The property opens out into a lawned courtyard where guest have their own outdoor furniture from which to enjoy the views and some al fresco dining. 

There is one double bedroom with an en-suite fully tiled shower room with power shower.

The property is equipped with a non-tethered EV charging unit, offering convenience for electric vehicle users. Guests are kindly reminded to bring along their own charging cables for use.
