Kestrel Cottage, a contemporary stone-built holiday getaway, boasts a superb location on the farm with uninterrupted views of the rolling hills and moorlands of the Northumbrian countryside. This single-storey property is beautifully situated in a quaint row, alongside the equally charming Curlew Cottage and Merlin Cottage.

A paved ramp provides easy access to the property for wheelchair users, as well as for manoeuvring buggies or luggage. Once inside, you'll find a generous, tiled hallway with ample space for storing coats, boots, and other belongings.

Off the entranceway sits a large, contemporary kitchen and dining space which is fantastic for evenings of entertaining and family meals. As well as granite worktops and shaker-style kitchen units, guests are given a full range of appliances including an oven, hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, coffee machine and an American style fridge/freezer. There is also a washer/dryer for your convenience. 

The kitchen leads into a separate living space which makes the most of the countryside views with a large picture window which floods the space with natural light. Guests can curl up on the sofas with a book or enjoy a movie on the Smart TV in front of the wood burning fire. 

The patio door from the living room leads to a secluded stone terrace, perfectly suited for enjoying alfresco meals or relaxing with a drink as you soak in the stunning hues of the sunset.

Further along the hallway you will find the sleeping accommodation which promises an amazing nights sleep. 

  • Master Bedroom: Super king-sized bed, Smart TV, vanity unit and has a private ensuite.
  • Bedroom 2: Twin beds accompanied by a vanity unit, plenty of storage and its own ensuite shower room.
  • Bedroom 3: Twin beds, ideal for those travelling with children. 

The bedrooms are served by a large, accessible bathroom with a separate bath and walk/roll-in shower complete with grab rails.

The property is equipped with a non-tethered EV charging unit, offering convenience for electric vehicle users. Guests are kindly reminded to bring along their own charging cables for use.
