A half hour drive from Ardlui you will find the Auchentoshan Distillery on the Dunbartonshire Estate, which dates back to 1823 and boasts some of the best Scottish whisky. Oban Whisky Distillery dates back to 1794, is one of the smallest Scottish distilleries, nestled beneath a steep cliff overlooking the sea. Producing, rich, smoky flavours, Oban Whisky is a firm favourite.
